Jim Jones and his People's Temple were pretty easily identified as a cult. Nine hundred dead in one pile. It would have been a cult even with a billion adherents.
islam is no different. It is an evil cult of death. If they have their way, the 'infidel' will be eliminated, then they will turn on themselves. This 'infidel' will not go easily.
