“There are no unmarked cars either.”
Ooohh yes there are. They can’t use them for traffic law enforcement, but they can use them for other things.
That’s what I was referring to.
“...Ooohh yes there are. They cant use them for traffic law enforcement, but they can use them for other things....”
That’s not the case where I live. The cops use unmarked cars AND pick-up trucks to stop speeders. I’ve seen it numerous times. That violates the rules of engagement IMHO. If cops are going to issue speeding tickets, use a marke car.
One more thing. I don’t know what it’s like in your neck of the woods but where I live, I have seen speeding stops where two and sometimes three cop cars are used. To me, that’s a misuse or resources, not to mention overkill.
Here in PA, they use unmarked as radar or VASCAR platforms. They radio a marked car down the road to pull over speeders.
The Unmarked pulls in behind the marked car as back-up.
I dont think they can pull people over with unmarked cars, but I could be wrong. there was a few wannabe cops who bought their lights and uniforms from a catalog and started to pull women over. Big problem....
