Guess you didn’t see the map on how close the homes raided were along I35 either. Whew, thankfully, there’s no cameras on 35 or anywhere in Austin because if there were those bad guys would certainly not have set up business there but moved it out into the country away from all the spying eyes.

But again, thanks for stopping by!

The Corridor wasn't "just recently" shot down. It's been dead for quite a while now.

And are you talking about Hwy 130, the 7 mile toll road that helps bypass the traffic gridlock of downtown Austin? I assume you're against it. By your logic, NO news roads would be built anywhere because of eminent domain.

And what's "eminent domain" got to do with your original post? That's called bait and switch and your post is still dishonest.

If I recall correctly, there was a report a while back that there are 3 or 4 Mexican Cartels operating their Headquarters in Austin! And the police were looking the other way!

So much for santuary city!

1) The corridor was shot down this year.

2) Eminent domain was brought up because you wanted to argue about the corridor. Yes, that was a huge reason it was shot down along with no one wanting it to turn into one big highway from Mexico to points north for the drug traffic and illegals.

My mistake, I thought drug traffic and illegals was the whole point of my thread. Yep, uh huh, I’m dishonest. Yep, I pulled a bait and switch on you. Yep, you’re still here and still wanting to argue. Bub-bye, but you’re more than welcome to continue arguing with yourself.

1) The corridor was shot down this year.

"The controversial Texas Trans Corridor has been dead for a few years, but it still lives on in the state statutes." San Antonio Express-News, Gary Scharrer (the statute wasn't officially removed until this Spring because the Texas Legislature only meets every two years).

2) Eminent domain was brought up because you wanted to argue about the corridor

When you post a comment, it's fair game for all replies. If you didn't want a reply, you shouldn't have brought it up in the first place.

My mistake, I thought drug traffic and illegals was the whole point of my thread.

That was supposed to be the point of your thread. But you had to try to turn it into a Perry bash instead re: your first post.

I35 is not a toll road, and has been there long before Perry cottoned up to the TTC idea.

I thought your point was that Perry’s TTC caused this influx. Then ‘Texan’ handed you your ass.

Then you said Perry had “miniature toll roads”. Then I explaind that toll roads in austin go in loops or point to point, not to Mexico.

So what’s your third feeble strike on trying to blame this on Perry gonna be?

I figured half the houses would be around the lake, with the Lakeway and Lago airstrips.

Wonder how much of that would have fueled Austin partying.

I think there was a drug plane busted at the Lago airport a couple of years ago.

It's what happens when you are a "sanctuary city" like Austin.

Oh well.
