Exactly! That is what we, as parents, strive to do...raise our children to be independent and adult in their thinking.

I know many almost 30 year olds and even a 40 year old here and there that don't come close!

Much as I'd like to take credit for that thought, it is from P-Marlowe's fabulous post #138. He's the one who credits Sarah for raising her kids to be adults!

My wise dad used to say that responsibility cannot be delegated, it must be owned. Sarah and Todd's kids are perfect examples of honoring their responsibilities. I don't know what more a parent could want.
