I think they're probably more excited about being able to loot the public coffers if their sock-puppet Perry gets in. Nobody sinks that much money into a candidate without expecting some direct ROI.
What these people care about is their own bottom line. When what is good for their own personal bottom line very often runs contrary to what is good for the rest of the us.

Their ROI with Perry is the ability to be able to NOT have Obama take away their money and “redistribute” it. Sounds good to me. Anyone who is productive and has any sense would want Obama defeated, and Perry is the one who can do it.
