The 234-190 vote sends the "cut, cap and balance" plan to the Democratic-controlled Senate, where it has virtually no chance of passing.

I’m still glad they did it.
Michelle Bachman voted NO
Now if about 100 million Americans call their Senators tonight and tomorrow, the last laugh would be on Obama and the lame media pimps.
22 hours ago - headline was
Michelle Bachmann (R-Minn.) came to downtown Columbia to formally sign the “Cut, Cap, and Balance Pledge,”
Tonight she voted NO - because she wanted health care repealed within the measure.
As she should have voted. CCaB is CRAP.
Yep, at least they are efforting the cuts in spending while the Senate is joining Nero in a fiddle.
As Rush would say; Bachmann is acting 'too cute by half!'
I am tired of Michele’s ‘it didn’t go far enough’ excuse. She uses for every bill she votes NO on. This one was a HUGE mistake on her part. HUGE.
Even fox is calling this plan “symbolic”
Yet everyone calls the senate plan “serious”
Yet the only actual legislation that has been written voted on and passed is ccb
I really hate the media
So am I, even if it watered down and let the Dems be on record failing to pass it.
Regardless, it will be a terrific (symbolic) Republican campaign issue for fiscal responsibility.
While Nero golfed.
She was for it before she was against it :) Politicians will always be politicians
We all know how this ends. We have all known the whole time that the Republicans will - in the end - cave. There will be no REAL deal - no hard deal. We will, once again, be the losers.
Some things never change - this is one of them.
There is no hope - at least not with those in power at this time.
For my money she might as well have voted “present”!
Come onnnn, Sarah Palin!!!
DEM voting YES: Boren, Cooper, Matheson, McIntyre, Shuler.
Actually it's spelled:Michele Bachmann.
Anyway, she believes it didn't go far enough. Apparently she does not like appeasement and compromise.
God Bless the Republican controlled House. Remember, the Senate sell out cannot pass into law unless the House votes for it as well...we have a true standoff and McConnell should have the balls to support the Republican party!
