So am I, even if it watered down and let the Dems be on record failing to pass it.
Regardless, it will be a terrific (symbolic) Republican campaign issue for fiscal responsibility.
Obama framed this issue last week - during his press conference. He said the Republicans and Tea Partiers would vote and pass some silly bills before they pass the real deal.
He framed the issue and Republicans allowed him to frame today’s vote. Calling it a decoy and political ploy.
He said - in the end - he would win.
