Perry Ping
“We dont go to sleep at night dreaming of William Barret Travis drawing a line in the sand.”
Really? Well ya ought to...
It makes me nervous when Texas Monthly speaks glowingly of someone.
Can somebody explain Perry’s work as Al Gore’s campaign manager in Texas?
Has Perry repudiated Gore since?
And if Perry hasn’t, why won’t he?
Yeah - I’m really going to believe a Burka ...
Even more disturbing than the Gore issue is the way Perry, this so-called "Christian social conservative" supported Rudy Giuliani for President in 2007, then switched to notorious RINO McCain when Rudy dropped out.
” Can somebody explain Perrys work as Al Gores campaign manager in Texas?
Has Perry repudiated Gore since?
And if Perry hasnt, why wont he? “ <<<<
Yes. To all the above. Recall also that Gore was once prolife.
From loony liberal Oregon - Can you add me to the Perry Ping List? Thank you :-)
Excellent article. Thanks.
GREAT article.
Bump!
I thought it was a pretty balanced article and learned a couple of things:
Didn't realize his family had been so poor while he was growing up. Or that he had spent so much time alone on the land.
A horse, a dog and room to wander. Reminds me of my childhood.
Screw Texas.
Rick Perry: Al Gore's gone to Hell
Perry does not believe there is valid scientific proof of anthropogenic global warming. He has said several times that there is no scientific consensus on the issue.
On September 7, 2007 Perry gave a speech to California Republicans. He said, "Virtually every day another scientist leaves the global warming bandwagon. ... But you won't read about that in the press because they have already invested in one side of the story."
That was glowingly for Texas Monthly describing a republican.
Hey. Sarah Palin supported McCain.
Right back at ya, sweetie-pie.
"I don't sell my quilts, but I will give them away to special people," she said.
Perry said that when her children were growing up, she made all of their clothing.
"They didn't have store-bought clothes I made them," she said."...........
Nellie Doneva/Reporter-News Amelia Perry(right), mother of Texas Gov. Rick Perry, shows her quilts at a meeting of the Buffalo Gap Republican Woman's Club at Perini Ranch Steakhouse Friday. Perry called this quilt her "Scarlet O'Hara" quilt, because she made it out of a curtain during a time she was getting cancer treatments and spending most of her time at home.
You mean she supported the republican presidential candidate and the lifelong republican senator that she shared the ticket with, yes she did, that is not quite the same as being democrat presidential candidate Al Gore’s chairman.
