I guess I will not be voting for Cain. We don’t need another neocon wasting money on foreign ventures. Israel is more than capable of protecting itself. Instead of committing troops and taking action, why not just give them the proverbial “green light”.

I wish that were so, but it isn't. Israel's air force, man for man, plane for plane, can match even ours. But it's actually quite tiny. And Iran's nuclear facilities are spread out throughout the country, many buried deep underground. Then there's the problem of getting there, which would require at least tacit permission from either Saudi Arabia or Jordan (possible) plus Iraq (less likely).

If Israel had the capability to take out Iran's program, they would have done it already. I'm not saying we should do it for them. But it's quite easy to overestimate Israel's military capabilities.

“We don’t need another neocon wasting money on foreign ventures. Israel is more than capable of protecting itself.”

This sounds like it’s right out of Ron Paul’s crazy, anti-Israel playbook.

Cain is no neocon looking for “ventures”. When you have a radical Islamist lusting for nukes so that he can obliterate the Little Satan, then the Big Satan next, as he’s publicly stated time and time again, you’d best believe he means it - and plan accordingly.

It’s one thing when the old rules of battle and Robert’s Rules of Order applied - never attack first, only defend when attacked - it’s quite another when the present-day reality is that radical “religious” fanatics are planning nuclear attacks with the stated, determined mission to kill ALL Infidels (Israel and us being first).

Paul knows nothing, and appears to have no interest in learning, about fundamental Islam as commanded by Muhammad in the Koran and Hadith. When he constantly says it’s because of our policies or relationship with Israel that’s to blame for their hostility, he’s just plain, dead WRONG.

I like Ron Paul’s views on some other things, but his “foreign policy” is that of a naive idiot and would be as dangerous for the country as that of B. Hussein.
