In late July 2010, Rep. Michele Bachmann’s then-communications director, Dave Dziok, told his boss that he planned to take a new job with the public relations firm Edelman.
Dziok had worked for Bachmann for two and a half years, a relatively long period by the standards of her office, and was leaving on good terms.
Staff turnover can frustrate any employer, but Bachmann responded more dramatically. Dziok’s departure triggered a debilitating medical episode that landed the congresswoman in urgent care.
“Within 24 hours she was in the hospital,” a former aide says.
Bachmann was admitted to a Washington, D.C. hospital on Friday, July 30, and released that same day. She flew home to Minnesota to recuperate, missing a scheduled campaign event with Sen. Roy Blunt.

I don’t doubt that might be true for some.
On the other hand, I suffer from a type of migraine that is much less debilitating - a vision thing, not pain. And I’ve several in-laws who suffer from the worse kinds. But who have found increasing relief through various avoidance techniques, treatments, meds, magnets, moonbeams or whatever.
They all lead productive lives.
If Bachmann shows any signs of such frailty during this looooong election season, I might start to be mildly concerned.
Otherwise, I’m not.
Like I say, she could keel over dead as prez at just about any moment and America will be just fine.
Bingo! Politicians who spend their hard earned money don’t want it squandered because the people take to a more tuned-in conservative. There is no way one can predict how they will deal with it. Instead of competing on the issues, some try to destroy the opposition through digging up dirt and personal attacks.
It will get hysterical when Michelle Bachmann gets attacked for the brand of perfume she uses.
I used to get them so bad that I WOULD end up in the emergency room sometimes. 24 hours was mild. The very last one I had was before I got pregnant and haven’t had one since, but THAT one lasted for 9 days and my doctor had me on amorphine drip. NOTHING stopped it. I could still feel it through the drugs. If she gets anything like that, she’s just down until it’s over...and that is NOT a good thing. NOTHING scares me worse than the possibility of that kind of heaache because you just want to die.
Never found out what caused them OR what stopped them. I just thank G-d they stopped.
Well, that does it. None of the more dependably globalist, anti-American candidates will have a chance. You’ll get Obama again—guaranteed.
Been there, done that many times myself. And ER docs aren’t exactly nice to migraine patients. Most times they think you’re just a drug seeker so they put you in a corner to wait you out. I had to get a notarized letter from my neurologist when I was traveling a lot to make it easier to get treatment in the ER.

Remember what Rush said months ago when people would tell him that Palin is damaged goods....every GOP candidate will eventually be damaged goods....they are just going to go down line. Who will it be next Cain or Perry? The MSM is going to pick the GOP candidate and then they’ll tear that person appart once he gets the nomination.

I'll accustomed to liberal slants, but this story makes her sound like a psyc case in the early graphs. Then such phrases as “Bachmann fell apart.” The story may be entirely or partly true, but sounds like a hit piece to me.
Finally, she is now in a bruising campaign. Have their been any missed dates, events, etc?
