EXACTLY! One can only hope this case will help force the issue!

I can't believe that more people do not recognize the type of psychological harm that can come to people through these methods -- especially to the CHILDREN...

FOR EXAMPLE - a parent teaching a child about "bad touch" might now sound something like this;

"Don't ever let anyone touch you where your bathing suit goes, those are private parts... And, be sure to tell Mommy and Daddy if anyone ever touches you in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable. Remember, the "bad people" who hurt children will make up lies and excuses for why what they're doing is not wrong - do not believe them! ALWAYS come to your parents if anyone EVER touches you, it's NOT RIGHT!
OH... EXCEPT for these strangers wearing uniforms in the airport - they are allowed to touch you wherever they want while Mommy and Daddy stand right beside you, and watch and LET these people touch you, and your parents will get very upset at you if you complain or act out! --- Do you want to go see your grandparents? OK, then... Let the authority figure put their hands all over your private parts and don't complain -- they are making sure you are "safe"!"

It's simply absurd, and tragic really...

What about adult survivors of sexual abuse or sexual assault? It's not like it won't cause them undue psychological stress and harm -- that sometimes won't be immediately apparent either! Add in that if you say anything you can be arrested... Absolute INSANITY! And it's exactly why I will not be flying until the TSA stops these practices... AND, I would NEVER expose my children to this kind of treatment either... It's just plain neglectful and abusive, really. It completely boggles my mind as to how people can excuse this behavior from ANYONE - much less from an "official" agency!
