If so, Lt Columbo would note that he forgot something. Namely, the electrical cord binding hands and feet of the putative suicidee.
Officials have yet to determine if her death was a suicide or a homicide.
Remember how long it took to charge O.J.? Its amazing how law enforcement seems to walk on eggs when the 'person of interest' is rich and/or famous. How could it not be a homicide, by the way, considering the circumstances described.

That is because she smoked a joint ten years ago and had money in the bank, and had etc, etc . She was just plain no good. Mr nice guy, that gives to the cop parties never does anything wrong.
It sounds more like “me and the kid have had enough we are leaving”, the answer, “the only way you leave here bitch is in a body bag”, end of case. Now she had to be guilty, just like the old black gal in new York.

Or, boy falls down stairs, girl feels responsible, hangs self. Suicide is the most sincere form of self-criticism.
Or the place is haunted. I could go either way.
