Another company looking to move to Florida from California. I don't personally understand why any corp would want to grow business in California. It is just a waste of their money unless there is a really good reason.

Chocholek’s first choice was Fort Lauderdale because of its airport access to the east coast and South America. But commercial real estate costs were excessive and people were rude, he says.

The area is full of transplanted retired yankee union employees who vote democrat. Who'd want to move there?

Environmental and “well-intentioned” individuals/groups are strangling California’s economy.

For the good/well-being of the people transforms itself into for the good of all....A socialist, marxist, totalarian state of thinking and action.

I’m trying to get the heck out of CA. Any construction/Engineering Co.’s needing Document control people in Texas I will move myself. 20 years in Construction.

“People from California don’t want to live in this weather,” says Messonnier, who has lived in California’s temperate climate and helped Chocholek find space in Fort Myers. “You get someone to move from L.A. to Fort Myers or Naples, that’s a culture shock.”

That’s for sure!

I’ve spent a lot of time in SW Florida and there’s a serious redneck element in Fort Myers and the Lee County area. Couple that with a borderline paramilitary sheriffs department, a generally cruddy school system and an anal-retentive permitting process and that’s a recipe for disaster.

The State of Texas is gaining ground with companies moving from CA and other places that are not business friendly.

California. Killing the goose that laid the Golden Egg since 1960.

"We just need to eliminate all the differences between states to make it "equal" for everyone."

Socialist thoughts in the works for the last century.
