Was John F. Kennedy the flat-out absolute worst U.S. president of the 20th century?

As I studied the Vietnam war over the last 14 months, I began to think that John F. Kennedy probably was the worst American president of the previous century.

I agree, and I have always believed that if Nixon had won that election history would have been much different, and much better. Nixon would not have allowed us to become entangled in Vietnam, and Lyndon Johnson would never have been president.

True, if Eisenhower's veep had won in 1960 then the 60s would have been mostly a continuation of the 50s, instead of JFK's radical decade of destruction.

JFK destroyed us by replacing the American people with third world democrat voters and multiculturalism, and I have no idea what that nonsense about the Catholic vote was, the Catholic vote before 1960 was either 100% Democrat, or as some polls claim, had one exception where they voted Republican, which was in 1956.

Robert Kennedy left office in September of 1964.

Error! Error! Error!

Robert F. Kennedy was elected to the United States Senate in November of 1964 and assumed his seat in January of 1965. Immediately prior to September 1964 he served as Attorney General of the United States under JFK and LBJ.

We have the gay Jesuit priest Tom Dooley . . .

I don't think so. Not only wasn't he a Jesuit, he wasn't even a priest.

I don't know if JFK was the worst president of the 20th century, but he sure as hell was the most overrated. There was almost nothing of consequence accomplished in his tenure in office, partly because the guy served for less than three years before he was assassinated.

Most of the "accomplishments" attributed to JFK actually took place during the Johnson administration, and a media filled with "Camelot" sycophants retroactively attributed them to JFK.

JFK was an incompetent Captain of a PT boat but was ultimately brave after his bad leadership got his boat cut in half by a destroyer.

Tell that to the man that died after JFK's negligence.

He was not anymore brave than the rest of the survivors of his crew that were with him in the water, the navy wanted to bring charges against him, but the John Kerry of his time received a medal instead and I think his father was pushing for something like the Medal of Honor.

Well JFK was not as bad as Jimmah but he had control of both houses of Congress and could not get any of his legislation passed. Not to worry though, Soetoro is going to make both JFK and Jimmah look like shining lights by comparison.

FDR was worse. Jimmy Carter was worse. James Buchanan was worse. Woodrow Wilson was worse. John Adams was worse. Hmmm...

I would put Nixon in there too! EPA? Just look at it now! China? We should have kept it behind the wall. American History, if truthfully written in the end, will have to show our stupidity with opening free trade with a communist slave state of over 1 billion people as one of the major reasons we were destroyed.

You need to keep studying. JFK was far from the worst president of the last cenrury.

Ironically, if JFK had lived, he would be a Republican today.

That’s how far left the left has pulled this country since the 60s.

If it weren’t for Jimmuh, JFK would win 100 miles ahead of the competition!

I have always thought JFK was the worst. Thanks to him we had the Berlin Wall, and Cuba remains a dictatorship.

I have long agreed with you. The 60s was the beginning of so
mething very bad that wouldn’t have happened if Nixon had been robbed of his win.

Stealing that election was the JFK/Kennedy signing of a pact with the devil, to bring down this nation, and destroy it’s proud foundation and heritage and culture.

And they got what they wanted, the Democrat party has not won the white vote since 1964, but it makes very little difference anymore, and will mean nothing in the future.

Kennedy saved this country from a total economic collapse by demanding a huge tax cut.

He also paid with his life for attempting to keep the country on hard money. Had he lived and succeeded, we would not be in this current mess.

In economic terms, JFK was the best president since the beginning of the 20th century. (his social daliances not withstanding)
