Nor do I believe that there is any one person who is going to save America from the death spiral. It is going to take many leaders with the strength of their convictions, and tens of millions of citizens to do what is right. Best comment on this thread. Who we elect as president is meaningless if we can't have thousands more like them doing the heavy lifting that must be done.
I honestly don't think Perry will try to dismantle Obamunism as fervently as Palin or Bachmann would but I do think Perry would do a lot of it and has a better chance of winning a national election. 10 years of success as governor vs. 2-1/2 years of Obama failure. There are a lot of middle-roaders that can be won over by that argument.

I appreciate the kind words. I agree that Perry will probably be an attractive candidate on a national basis, which is counts highly in a presidential run. From everything that I know at this point, I could support him, but would rather have and will work to support a more conservative candidate. I can envision Perry being too much the compromiser.
