To: Clairity
I'm not 'blaming' Palin for her support of anyone, but I am recognizing that she will say things that don't necessarily comport with her self-proclaimed 'rogue' style, or with staunch conservatism.

Why is that so hard for Palin devotees to handle? It never seems to be enough that I would vote for her, but fall short of falling into her orbit.

I think you misunderstood what I meant — I suppose I wasn’t as clear.

My point was exactly what you were trying to say, that the Palin-worshippers want to have it both ways.

I like Sarah and if she runs, I most likely would vote for her, especially if Perry doesn’t run — but I look at all candidates realistically, nobody is perfect.

It is unfortunate that for some it becomes a cult of personality, instead of a rational assessment of the candidates.
