After watching Mitchell and his give-Obama-everything plan this week, recalling the lame-duck Congressional session of late 2010 that gave embattled, weak Obama much of what he wanted, and recalling the 1996 Clinton re-election, we are reminded that the Pubbies still have plenty of time to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Pubbies are expert at that.

Mitchell's plan to give Obama authority over the debt ceiling? Talk about unintended consequences and precedent that kind of legislation would set! If they did that, we don't even need a Congress.
