You couldn’t pay me to go to a midnight screening of anything, not in this city..if I want to see a movie I see it during the day. I know many people love to be the 1st ones to see movies but I guess I’m just not one of those people

We used to do midnights in high school and college. Even went to a few Rocky Horror midnight showings, which is always hilarious. Can’t help but believe this was done purposely for negative press. The target audience for this film is sleeping at midnight, and (mostly) working during the day. That’s why the shows from 5-10pm have been selling out.

Round these parts midnight movies are often strange cult classics like Heavy Metal,The Rocky Horror Picture Show,Eraserhaed and Pink Flamingos.
Can't imagine the average midnight movie goer having ANY interest in watching a movie about a Christian Conservative leader.
