I'm not so sure.
If the MSM openly calls for their assassination or removal by fiat (snipers wanted), then I will be convinced they will not cave, but any reports of Plan B, C,.. X, Y or Z means a cave.
I know where you're coming from, but I have to take exception to this sentiment.
No battle plan survives the fog of war. It is a plan, a starting point. Once the fighting starts, it's important to IMPROVISE, ADAPT, OVERCOME. And do so better and faster than the other guy. IMHO, it's wrong to have a kneejerk reaction to different plans being proposed or discussed. Sure, some may stink. But that's to be determined after carefully reviewing each one and understanding its political and economic goals on the merits. Improvising, adapting and overcoming is not automatically "caving" -- on the Hill any more than on the battlefield!
