Newt Gingrich raised about $2.1 million for his presidential campaign this quarter and spent nearly $1.8 million, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. He ended the period with slightly more than $300,000 cash on hand.
Among the disbursements: $8,400 to Gingrich Productions, a Washington, D.C.-based company that lists Callista Gingrich, the candidate's wife, as president. Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond said the campaign paid Gingrich Productions for use of the domain name Newt.org. The Federal Election Commission requires that campaigns apply fair market value to such transactions.

Looks like Gingrich waited until late Friday to make this dump. I can't say I blame him. It's bleak for the Newtie Toad. All you Newtie Fans need to pick up the slack and donate to his campaign until it hurts. I understand he liked his last cruise and needs your money to take another one. So, give your hard earned money to him!

Ya know, I've tried to like this man--I even met him once years ago at a CPAC.
He just always struck me as sorta oily or something that I couldn't quite define. It looks like I'm not alone if he's having this much difficulty raising funds.......

What he needs to do is get behind the conservative candidates and push....quietly.

Would you let her into your store, even if it was a Quik-E-Mart?

Oh Sh$t...that’s one scary picture.
To: cripplecreek
Excellent point! I just don’t think he can do “quiet”.

Gingrich also owes himself about $47,000, including $44,000 for the use of Gingrich's personal email list, again valued according to FEC rules. Whut?

The only better news is that the would be Adulterer in Chief is dropping out of the race. I lost most of my respect for him when he failed to pass term limits and a balanced budget amendment as promised in the Contract with America; a token effort at best for the two most important items in the Contract. Imagine how mu h better off we would be today with a balanced budget and over half of the career politicians out of Congress. The rest was lost when he agreed or is said to have agreed that Reagan conservatism is dead and a new conservatism is needed. Sorry, Newt the Poot, when you stuck your finger in your mouth and then thrust it in the air to find your conservatism and sided against the TEA party, that did it for me. That and the fact you trade wives more often than I trade cars.

Yeppers. Promised one thing, delivered another. Sounds a lot like this debt ceiling deal that’s about to go down. Promises cuts that will never be made, but delivers the money.
If the DC elites are willing to make cuts in the future, why aren’t they willing to make cuts now?

And it all goes back to when he decided to follow his prick instead of principle.
