My husband has a medical condition (so does his sister) that prevents us from using any florescent or LED lights.
Dang! Now I have to figure out what to do with 1,933 of these evil 40-to-100 watt things that I accumulated over the past few years...
I use the squiggly ones, but it's MY choice. They are cooler to use in the house on a hot summer Texas day!

Libs really aren’t about “choice”.
I think people ought ot be able to choose what kinds of bulbs are in their houses. My personal preference is I like lights that don’t generate a lot of heat and use as little energy as possible while having the longest possible lifespan as they can. But I have a bunch of different choices in bulbs to pick from. And if I want an inexpensive regular old bulb because I need a temporary replacement, I want to be able to get one, to
