Obama : "You have 80% of the American people who support a balanced approach. 80% of the American people support an approach that includes revenues and includes cuts. So the notion that somehow the American people aren't sold is not the problem. The problem is members of Congress are dug in ideologically."

Lying worked to get elected, but lying doesn’t solve problems. That’s what he doesn’t get.
To: RobinMasters
I’ve said it before (borrowing from Joe)...
YOU LIE!!!
FUBO!!!

Maybe "80%" of the 20% that still support him...holder's peeples.
He's bluffing again, call him on it.
I'd say, "Well, we'll take our chances with what the American people really want on election day...but right now, NO TAX INCREASES."

“revenues” He just can’t make himself call new taxes what they are—new taxes. Clinton tried calling them `payroll premiums.’ The Democrats never met a tax they didn’t like or couldn’t think of a euphemism to describe.

Yep. Where was bipartisanship when Reid and Pelosi locked the GOP out of the hearings on ObamaCare and told us “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it”?

Call him on this lie, GOP. Tell him that those 80% of which he speaks are most likely coming from his welfare constituency (you know, “Obama’s Stash” types), illegal aliens and the all but brain dead in nursing homes, or cemeteries, whatever!

You can manipulate poll questions and sampling and results to say just about any lie you want.
The bottom line is, cutting spending is the only way to deal with what is a spending problem. The runaway spending is what got us here, not too small a tax burden. That is what the TEA in Tea Party stands for - Taxed Enough Already. So, Obama, the balance IS in cutting spending. That balances the fact that already our taxes are high enough and too high. You lie when you pretend that cutting spending isn’t a balanced approach.
It’s exactly like Rush says, “I AM equal time”, when dumb callers or media/leftist critics claim he doesn’t give equal time to liberal views.

Anybody else notice that Obama repeatedly talked about “revenues”? He never used the word “tax” or “tax increase”. He referred to them as “revenues”. Is he so afraid to utter the word “tax”? What the heck is an increase in “revenue” as part of the mix, if not a tax increase of some kind?????
To: Dilbert San Diego
maybe he is going to start to charge for tours of the white house and sell hot dogs. not much, but it’s a start.
