Predicted this cave from the very beginning. No, no, no, everyone said. Give it a chance; don’t trash the Repubs who are working so hard and know the next election depends on what they do now.
BUT, duh, the quisling Repubs do this EVERY TIME! “Snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.” Is it any wonder that that phrase is emblazoned on their cowardly backs.
Heard that Cantor was told to remain silent in the discussions today, and he did. Don’t know if it is true, or if true, why he did.
Nearly 80%-—80% of Americans don’t want this deal. Fascist Dems are depending that by the time of the election, this crisis will be out of mind (BECAUSE, they will have replaced it with a NEW one) and that they will be able to buy enough votes to win.
Hoping Palin/West, at best, but this is going to be a real nail biter-—very dicey.
Palin West would be great. But there are so many balls in the air it would be difficult to predict.
This failure of the GOP is a huge sea change. The conservative wing if the GOP has just been trashed.Boehner and McConnel have been playing conservatives for fools since January.They are daring conservatives to try and repeat the electoral sucesses of last November. We will do that and MUCH more.
The enemy have defined themselves. Now we take them down.
