He had more important things to do.

That's what I don't get with the Democrats' argument on this. What do they have to 'go to the American people' with, 'We're going to raise your taxes'? 'Old people and the military won't get paid'?
They're not holding any cards at all.

Republicans in the House should pass a bill that mandates debt servicing, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the military and military retirees are paid out of monthly tax receipts. Yes they absolutely must pass something that keeps the wheels moving on debt service, SS, MC, military and vets. That's a must. Better not let the deadline pass w/out that.

Sorry. No one in that room knew Reagan. As a matter of fact, since most of the people in that room are the creme de la creme of the elitist Republican establishment, they HATE Reagan, they HATE the Tea Party, and they absolutely HATE conservatism. Their heroes are McCain, Lott, Dole, Bush 1, Ford, Nixon, Romney Sr., and Nelson Rockefeller. They LOVE being the minority party so they don't need guts, gonads, or backbones. Added benefits include having the MSM, which hates anyone with an R attached except the most viral of the elitists, not write bad things about them and still get invited to the ruling class cocktail parties. They have the President of the United States by the short hairs and are doing everything they can to let him go. Makes me nauseous.

The average subcriminal psychopath cannot stand disagreement, nor can he allow defiance of any form. Obama has yet again demonstrated more signs that he is indeed a subcriminal psychopath who has zero mental capacity for ethical and responsible leadership.

I’m sure the good folks at Heritage have those $1.7 trillion worthwhile cuts just waiting for someone in Congress to ask them for it.

Obama’s political skills were honed in Chicago, Illinois. That is a Democrat power center. Nobody ever says, ‘No’. They just play games, raise taxes and lie.
He’s never faced real resistance and he doesn’t have the leadership skills to work around it. Obama’s a nobody, an empty shirt, all hat and no head.
Fatherless, he’s desperate to be a man and looks around for an example. He picks Ronald Reagan? Then pouts and blusters. When did Reagan pout and bluster?
This is why you don’t put up candidates without hard, real world experience. This is why we elect governors as President and not legislators.

Obamas only hope for reelection now is to split the republican vote so that he can win... He does not need to split the Republican vote to win. He merely needs to split the Independent vote to win. If he splits the Republican vote, he is looking at a record breaking 50 state landslide.

The Republicans need to get out there and say exactly that. No more mincing of words. Tell it like it is. Tell the American people exactly what 0bama is all about and what his agenda is. Hit the American people square in the face and rub it in. Make the American people see what’s happening and make the message shake them up on a personal level where they can feel it. It must be on a personal level because then they will understand. Most are so dumbed down they can’t see the big picture.

Yes sir, Perot hardly split the Republican vote. When someone says "split", I assume one means close to 50%. Here we go:
1992 Republican vote:Bush: 73%, Clinton: 10%, Perot: 17% ==> Hardly a split
1992 Independent vote: Bush: 32%, Clinton: 38%, Perot: 30% ==> More of a split
1992 Rat vote: Bush:10%, Clinton:77%, Perot: 13% ==> Hardly a split
http://www.ropercenter.uconn.edu/elections/how_groups_voted/voted_92.html
Perot had only a slightly larger effect on Repub votes than on Dem votes. Clinton lost almost as many Rats to Perot as Bush lost Republicans to Perot.
The bigger split was in the independent vote.
Cue to 2012: If Obama truly "splits" Republican vote (gets close to 50%), then he will win all 50 states and all 535 EVs.

Many recognize that Obama has numerous psychological problems just by the way he acts and talks. My goodness, teleprompters at a grade school? Subcriminal psychopath is a new one on me but fits well. Thank you.

If it was Joe Walsh from IN, he would do just that, perhaps even bringing his own sleeping pad. ... But then real men and heroic people are like that.
