BROOKLYN, NY (PIX11) Breakfast at Tiffany's is a popular movie classic, but it is now coming under fire from Asian groups in Brooklyn who are asking people to boycott the movie.

Oh, not this sh!t again! And Audrey Hepburn smokes- will the tobacco Nazis chime in next?/s
I like the song better than the movie...
Oh the Japanese guy. I thought they might be objecting to Tiffany’s “China” department.
Moon River ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOByH_iOn88 ) or the pop single ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eCrXGYysAo )?
Considering Pearl Harbor, a pretty generous representation.
Tell them to deal with it. This was 50 years ago.
Geez. America is going to hell in a handbasket and these idiots are worried about a 50 year old movie where everyone associated with it has long since died. It’s no wonder we’re in the shape we’re in.
Every one seems to have a thin skin....along with no sense of humor.
Jerk. I need to get to bed.
(thanks, LOL)
I’m offended they’re offended. I was watching “The Irishman” and every derogatory Italian cuss word was uttered in 2 hours, but heck, I was cracking up and I’m a greaseball wop Freeper.
They aren't alone. The Canadians recently had the Dire Straights hit "Money For Nothing" banned from the airwaves because the lyrics include the word "faggot". That song was a hit around 1984,
Mickey Rooney is still alive. I think some people get too worked up. Irish are generally portrayed as drunkards, Poles get the stupid jokes. And they’re whining about Rooney’s goofball portrayal?! Asians do sound funny, cute when speaking English when it is not their first language.
I remember watching that Bruce Lee biopic Dragon movie and they showed him and his future wife go on a date to see Breakfast at Tiffany’s and how offended he was at this.
It’s amazing what some people care enough about to launch a “protest”. I mean, a screening of a movie made in 1961? America’s culture and economy is being destroyed by domestic enemies and this movie screening is what has people upset? Beam. Me. Up.
I always loved the old Charlie Chan movies starring Warner Oland and then Sidney Toler as Chan.
..I wonder what the “protesters” think of those dozens of movies?
