Wow, even NY has a few right-minded people. This is what happens: Conservatices do the honorable thing; but, liberals/progressives/'rats and other scum hang on, will not do the honorable thing and continue in their positions of influence just so they can continue to wield power.

You gotta admire the lady. She’s demonstrating the strength of her convictions in a positive way, i.e. one that only effects herself, rather than insisting upon imposing her will upon her fellow townspersons. >PS

There are STILL quite a few good conservative folk throughout NY State.

However, way too much Union,Big Government and socialists disguised as Democrats have driven many conservatives straight to I-81 into the Carolinas and the rest of the South.

BEWARE Southerners, NOT ALL the Yankee’s coming South are conservatives and not all the Yankees are flaming lefties!!!

She’ll probably be arrested for discrimination. That’s usually what the liberals do.

I’m a native Texan, but lived in NY for 10 years, actually just a little farther east from this woman’s location. Yes, there are a few Conservatives there, far too few; and, you are correct about the outflow. I’m back in Texas and see NY and NJ license plates frequently and they don’t all belong to Conservatives for sure. It makes me wonder how long will it be before Texas is another California.

Barker is a small town on Lake Ontario.

NY Progressives could not care less if people of faith and principle resign due to their schemes. In fact, they welcome it. It just gives them more control.

We figured the first part out back in the 1980’s, but because of that experience the lesson is hard on the second part, and not all of us Southrons are quite caught up on it.

I do notice an increased convergence of views between the conservative Northerner and the traditional Southerner regarding virtue, the citizen, the state, and centralized authority however.

If we want America to survive, we must make those who would bring about such a travesty quit. And if they won’t quit, we must drive them from public office by any legal means.

And replace them with people of conscience like Laura Fotusky.

Maybe she’ll be the catalyst for many other town clerks to resign rather than recognize counterfeit marriage. That would be a powerful statement.

Ideally correct, but as a practicable solution, IMHO, won’t happen.

This former New Yorker who is conservative, has lived in Texas for the last 8 years and I, also, fear the influx of NY/NJ lefties.

I cringe whenever I see yet another license plate.

However, one item these lefties from up North cannot handle in Texas is the heat....they might last ONE summer.

When these lefties ask me the if the temperature cools down in the winter, I reply...NO!!! It gets Worse...

I’ll Drive these lefties out of Texas like cattle if I have too...

No kidding. We see more and more out of state plate here in the Austin area.

Then the republic is finished.

I don’t accept that.
