Unfortunately, the Republicans are waiting for the Democrats to turn on Obama just as they did against Carter. But, Carter didn't have the media in his pocket (he was hammered on every SNL & Late Night show), and he didn't have 95% of the black vote GUARANTEED - REGARDLESS of how badly he performs - and America still felt that we were exceptional but we were just feeling down!

Compare all of that to Obama and until Obama rapes and kills little baby puppies and kittens on the front porch of the White House - ON VIDEO - he is untouchable!

This failure to stand and do the right thing is what makes almost everyone agree that the Republicans have NO BACKBONE! This is why someone like Donald Trump can make such a large ripple in the fabric, because America is looking for someone to CHALLENGE Obama! To tell us that America is still exceptional and we can get back on the right track! Until that happens, Obama actually has a chance to be re-elected; that is SCARY!!

I have made contact with all of my congress critters and asked why they are not standing in front of every dang camera SCREAMING about the lies, the scare tactics, the BS that The Won is spouting?!?!?

I always get the same BS reply, we need to be politically correct and play nice and blah, blah, blah! Complete capitulation and it really burns my buns because as long as they leave this stuff hanging out there - people believe it!

I agree with West, but if I were Obama and I looked across the table and saw a bunch of cowards negotiating with me, I'd use intimidation and scare tactics to get my way, as well. They'll eventually find an excuse to roll over for Obama.
