(CNSNews.com) - Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius told CNSNews.com on Monday that a provision in President Barack Obama's health-care law that requires small businesses to begin buying health insurance for their workers when they hire their 50th employee--or otherwise pay a penalty to the federal government--"will actually be a great incentive" for businesses to grow.
CNSNews.com asked Sebelius, Part of the health care law requires small businesses that grow to over 50 employees to provide health insurance to their employees or face a penalty [starting in 2014]. Do you think that may affect their incentive to grow--small businesses--to above 50 employees?

WHAT in the world.......????
Hello, is she living on earth?
So, now they are claiming Obungler’s health care bill is actually a jobs creation bill, just like the stimulus created jobs at a cost of $278 thousand per job? Obama and his administration are the laziest and dumbest group of thugs to ever have come down the pike!
In that case, we should lower the threshold to 0 employees and the economy would boom.
Every time I think I’ve heard the dumbest possible statement from someone in Zero’s administration, I’m proven wrong the next day by an even dumber comment.
Jack
Brownback approved her to her current cabinet position.
I think I remember hearing him say that it was better to have her out of the state.
She is an idiot. It won’t just limit growth, it will result in more layoffs. I would not want to be employees 50 through 60 or so when this provision goes into effect. There will be layoffs and more overtime and the use of temps until the business can adjust to its new size. Many employers will make this choice. It not only saves money but avoids interaction with an overreaching government agency.
The real plan is to make it attractive for all small businesses to simply pay the fine to the government per employee then pay the employee some amount of what they would have paid to an insurance co. The employee then can purchase insurance or also end up paying a fine to the IRS.
This will be the end of private insurance companies for the middle class and lead to a takeover of health care by the government. The big plan is then to unionize that 6% of the economy.
the stupidity of these people might be fun to watch if they weren’t making decisions that we all have to live with
But you are all thinking linearly. Kathleen Sebelius understands the hiring math involved. If you have the right frame of mind, 2+2=22!
Do I have to have a sarcasm tag here?
Kathleen Sebelius... this commissar has never worked in the dreaded private sector. Evil witch.
over 50 employees!!!???
$750 per employee penalty per year??!!
business must buy health insurance??
But...but...but
I thought health care was going to be free from the government?

etc etc
brains are hardwired backwards and twisted like Ramen noodles - ‘Noodle Heads”?
I really despise fake Catholics like her, Biden, and Pelosi.
Private business growth which is mandated by the government?? Jeez - why hasnt this been tried before? Not only would the economy be out of the woods by now - we never would have gotten there in the first place
If I were Catholic I would feel the same way. As governor Kathleen Sibelious went above and beyond to be pro-abortion. Joe Biden is low key about it
WHEN IS THIS CRAP GOING TO STOP?????
My son works with a 40ish woman who believed 100% she was going to be able to quit her job and ride her Harley around the country if Obama was elected. What an idiot. The company she works for has been trying to fire her for years but she has minority status and has a mile long record of complaints against other workers and managers. When the economy tanked he lost his job and they had to keep her for fear of a lawsuit. She is a waste of skin.
I'll never grow big enough to need so many employees that decisions have to be made in a PC manner. I hire family and automate as much as possible. 30 years ago I would strive to put more people to work but the work ethic in most young people today is foreign to me.
