Rick Perry could be close to announcing his candidacy for GOP presidential nomination just hours after it was revealed that Sarah Palin could also be ready to announce her nomination for the presidential nomination. The decision from Rick Perry comes off the back of a report that suggests Republican donors are not willing to back Michele Bachmann or Mitt Romney and they want both Sarah Palin and Rick Perry to stand to give the Republican party the greatest chance of beating president Obama in 2012 as well as adding some life into a so far drab nomination campaign.
....Snip....
The field is largely set but for the two headline acts - Rick Perry and Sarah Plain. Both Palin and Perry have indicated over the past few days that they will run for the nomination but have yet to make a formal stand...

No RomneyCARE. NO Gardasil by Executive Order Mandates.
This could make a great ticket. Palin / Perry 2012
“Only if Palin is on top.”
Where else? I would have no problem with that, were I Rick Perry. Besides, Alaska’s biggeren’ Texas. And, it would cause so many exploding heads in the obammy media corpse.
Thanks, that doesnt seem likely but it would completely change the race to have them both running against each other.
I’m kind of confused about this anyway. They come up with this fantasy scenario of Bachmann running with RINORomney and attack her for it but at the same time they openly support Palin running with another RINO.
While defeating Obama is a given, my purpose in supporting Palin goes beyond that goal. I also want to see the defeat of the political establishment in DC. That whole city stinks to high heaven and I see Sarah Palin as the only one who understands the problem. Going along to get along doesn't work for me and that's what every other GOP candidate represents.
I hope it happens. If Palin and Perry get in, the race takes on a very exciting dynamic.
And with them plus Cain and Bachmann, the rest of the field becomes even more irrelevent than it is now.
I agree with you on Palin, I hope she ends up at the top of the Republican ticket. The only remaining question for me is her running mate. My three favorites are Perry, Cain, and Bachmann, in that order.
The idea of a Palin/Perry ticket intrigues me. It would be two tough conservative governors from our two largest energy producing states. I think that has the making of a powerful and winning advertising campaign!
Yes you did, we know what you meant, and I agree.
Palin/Perry works for me
I thought it read, to both run for President? At any rate it`s just some guy writing it. Sarah is to good for VP
MB can bow out, show some class for a change
He's not a member, IIRC.
Where is Perry in your HARRY?
Hi smoothsailing.
I’m for what ever will beat the pants off the anti-everything good about America guy that resides in the White House.
VERY good poster!
