House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is demanding records from the White House about Democratic Party-organized and fundraising-related events involving the Obama administration, POLITICO's Jake Sherman reports. Issa's Monday letter to the White House, posted here, cites a variety of press reports including some in POLITICO about fundraising-related activity involving President Barack Obama and his aides. The events include a Democratic National Committee-organized meeting with Wall Street donors in March and the recent videotaping of a fundraising appeal by Obama at the White House.

Puh-lease. Nothing will come of Gunrunner but bluster and nothing will come of this either. Republicans don’t want to spend political capital on impeachment because they care more about their own hides and money than they do the US or any of us.

Obama should have been stopped and called in for questioning when he had his own favored press pool in the WH as well as doing commercials for his issues (OBAMACARE) with taxpayer money; back when he tried to tell Fox News they could not be in the WH press poll that day all reporters defended Fox.
Gunwalker, Acorn funding, Campaign Finance, GM take over .. all under federal congressional investigation now.
They are building a case to put him in a corner and make him unreasonable for democrats to run him. Look at the big picture.

This is going to CRUSH Obama. he will go down in history with a worse reputation than Nixon. He won;t be able to get a gig as speaker at a High School Graduation when this is done.

I would like to believe you are correct, but history tells me only partially so. One of the problems we have is that the extreme left works very hard to put facts on the ground. Even if he is impeached, pushed from office, defeated in the upcoming election, take your pick: They have carried out a massive agenda at break neck speed to implement their agenda.
It is too much to go into on one post, but even if the Republicans come into power, there is years of work to change and repair this damage. Not impossible, but very hard and painful repairs. That is, if there is a change in the Presidency, and conservatives sweep both houses.
Part of what needs to be done, is the prosecution and incarceration of the treasonous ones who made this possible. Without cutting off the many heads of the multi headed hydra-snake America faces, we will still be in trouble. Lots of it.
I did not say I agree or disagree, I said it will be a hard sell among non-conservatives.

I agree 100% - it will take 20 years to undo all that he has done alone. Much of his subversion won;t even be implemented till 2016. he planned it this way. Signed it into law etc.
So who ever is brought in will have to play catch up in getting rid of all of it and I doubt that will ever happen.
Even if he is arrested convicted and sent to jail, which I doubt highly will ever happen, it would still stand.
there is really only one way to undo all he has ever done, if they go after him for his inability to serve as president because he is not a NBC. Then EVERYTHING is undone at that time. Again, highly unlikely that even Issa would attack that. He would probably lose support for everything else he has done.
Too much done to us already to expect to see things as they should be again in our lifetimes. he really screwed us, our kids and grandkids.

“videotaping of a fundraising appeal by Obama at the White House.” My understanding is that this is illegal if it took place in the non-residential part of the White House (a portion used for public business like the Map Room). I sent a complaint to the FEC last week and it was delivered yesterday per certified mail. U.S. Code Title 18, subsection 607 IS enforceable by the FEC.
I think what will be done is that this will expose more of the corruption in the Obama admin and this will lead to his being weakened. It can also lead to Republicans having an upper hand in dealing with a proven corrupt ahole like BO.
I can only hope that they take this to the limit we all wish for which is Impeachment and removal. But hey, I do dream large.
