You are right. There is a bad tendency among some ‘conservatives’ to see threats where there are none. Christie is a fairly solid social conservative he is very strongly pro-life and pro-traditional marriage and he is very fiscally conservative. Does everything he says impress me no but neither does Sarah Palin or Michele Bachman however the important thing is none of these candidates are our enemies nor should they see each other as such. We have some real aweful candidates running like Mitt Romney who have records only a Democrat would be proud of. Those are our political opponents as much as Obama and we should be careful not to cut off our nose to spite our face.
You didn't, but it's a fact that every since Christie got elected there have been trolls showing up on almost every Christie thread to "inform" conservatives that "he's pro-abortion". They continue to "accidentally" repeat this lie no matter how many times Christie goes to bat for the pro-life cause. It would be nice if they would just stop lying about him and man up to the fact they were wrong. I guess for some conservatives, facts don't matter if they want to smear someone they're bitter about losing to.
