I take that to mean he wished he'd have "Bent Over Forwards".

Then someone could plug that fountain of nonsense.

LOL! Calls for a paraphrase of an old joke:

Q: What is the simplest mechanical device known to man?
A: The “Barack Obama”. It only has two moving parts — a mouth and a butthole — and they’re interchangeable!

This loser would get laughed out of any run of the mill business negotiation and kill if off instantaneously. He walks in at the 11th hour, makes massive changes to scope of the negotiation, demands everyone does it his way, and runs to the press to try to make it look like everyone else is the enemy while he’s the only one with the right answer.

I feel as though I’m being bent over (but not backwards) every time I pay my quarterly taxes. I feel your pain, Oblama.

The GOP is just plain stupid if they do not see the opportunity here.

The smart move would be to take this sort of intransigent position of Obama’s and give him what he wants.... good and hard.

How?

By crafting tax increases that hit Obama constituents hard. Very hard.

Foundations that are funding the various liberal causes? Tax them. Hundreds of billions of dollars are out there.

Tax Wall Street, especially JPM and GS. Put in a transaction tax that kills HFT, put a tax on things like bespoke derivative instruments, with the intention of killing those markets, but then point out that the banks that are buying/selling them are fat cats, every one.

Reduce the deductibility of state income taxes for the states with the highest DNC contributions.

Tax foundations of colleges and universities unless they use the foundation assets to reduce tuitions for students.

The list goes on and on.

But the GOP is too stupid to know how to fight dirty. They keep thinking that if they just give in a little bit, the press in DC will really, really start liking the GOP.

Fools.

Is that another way of saying he has his head up his own a$$?

Perhaps he should install a plexiglass navel.

On the contrary. Obama has made the GOP bend over forwards so he can do to them what he has done to the rest of America.

Obama and the Democrats jacked up Federal spending by 20%, borrowing trillions of dollars in the process, and instituted over $2 trillion in tax increases that haven't even gone into effect yet... and somehow it's the Republicans who are being unreasonable....

The GOP should offer a 10-15% surcharge on public employees with a 5% extra tax on those who belong to a PEU union.

See how Obama likes that.

I like Rush's suggestion that Boehner should just go play golf and cut the nonsense of these meetings, until Obama announces that that he's ready to lay off half of the bureaucracy. (The half the bureaucracy is my characterization.)

Repealing the tax free status of GE and GM would be nice.

Plus the income tax surcharge on government employees. heh.

Ideas are good. But the MSM will say the Republicans broke their promise and are raising taxes. That is all the sheeple will hear.

At this point, keeping their mouths shut is the best thing the republicans can do.
