This is the only thing that embarrasses me about FR! There are so many of our members who don’t “get” basic literature! I’m talking about sarcasm, exaggeration, irony, and ESPECIALLY “satire”.
(Now, because there are so many dolts here, unfortunately, I must say “yes, I know this post is NOT SATIRE”.)
But, seriously, how sad is it that some people here on FR don’t get the finer styles of written communication?
Toad - the headline was not meant to be ‘literal’. It is trying to make a point that there are many hundreds of shops here in Denver - and suggests it’s, therefore, easier to get weed than coffee. That’s all.

That’s like saying because there are more women than weed shops that it is easier to get laid than get weed.
Making such statements about weed versus coffee is not “satire”. So it seems somen doesn’t get “basic literature”. It is simply a bad comparison, and a retarded one at that.
