"The president directed the attorney general to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common-sense measures that would improve American safety and security while fully respecting Second Amendment rights," Carney said Thursday. "That process is well under way at the Department of Justice, with stakeholders on all sides working through these complex issues, and we expect to have some more specific announcements in the near future."
I'll help you out, Barry. Let's start with criminal prosecution of whomever gave the orders for Gunwalker--or impeachment for you personally followed by felony prosecution if you knew and approved. Straw purchases for known criminals are a FELONY under EXISTING gun laws and ATF orchestrated more than 2000 violations.

So the administration that is responsible for giving military class weapons to Mexican and American drug lords, is now going to come up with gun safety measures for those of us who did not get the free military class weapons ?
Good thing DC is fiscally bankrupt and collapsing. We could not live with it for much longer anyway.

"The president directed the attorney general to form working groups with key stakeholders to identify common-sense measures that would improve American safety and security IOW, the Tyrant directed his Chancellor to assemble the usual mobs to intimidate and disarm his opponents.
Aristotle: "The citizens begin by giving up some part of the constitution, and so with greater ease the government changes something else which is a little more important, until they have undermined the whole fabric of the state."

June 15, 2011-- Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals, this was the plan. It was so mandated. Special Agent John Dodson ATF Phoenix Field Division.Personally I think this was just another move by pOs to try and get the USA to look worse than it already is. He really is accomplishing his job.

Who would have thought it from this communists black Muslim dictator? Impeachment is near and this &^%$# is getting worried. Unfortunately, I don't see any plausible means by which Obama can ever be brought to justice. If nothing else, he can make arrangements to live in an extradition-proof haven, go there on an "official visit" shortly before he'd have to leave office, and stay there. There's no way an acting President is ever going to be branded a flight risk, and I doubt Joe Biden would ever go after him.

Betcha an M1 they're gonna close down the CMP. Don't try using reason and telling me they're a private organization. They'll do it they same way they shook down BP for $20B.
They'll just get 'em in a room and tell them "you can take the gold or you can take the lead."

We allow it and we do nothing to stop him. Yeah, real bad, but when you don’t protest much, they will do as they please and watch us whimper and snivel.

“administration that is responsible for giving military class weapons to Mexican and American drug lords,”
A perfectly normal response for a Chicago politician. Remember it was a made chief detective in Chicago that originally called for gun control as I remember it.
