REAL trolls almost never do that; and there have been those who are pro-Palin who have baited some other Palin supporters and then yanked the sh!t out of them (for knee-jerk accusations, and they only warned the person once--going nuclear *after* the warning was ignored). Only by going back two or three weeks could one find out they were a Palin supporter.
I think a great deal of the problem is that there has been so much egregious HATRED of Palin, and, indeed, so much real trolling, that some Palin supporters adopt the "ZOT 'em all, let Mod sort it out" attitude; but those who invoke the wrath of aggrieved Palin supporters bear some share of the blame for tone and context in which they vent some of their criticisms. Recall the seminar callers to Rush and seminar posters. Try not to look so much like one w.r.t. Palin if you really are trying to avoid being flamed: and openly acknowledging the posting of replies to anti-Palin objections (even if you simultaneously admit that you "still" happen to disagree) would gain a lot more credence than ignoring when essentially the same answer hits you from five or six posters independently, and repeating your already-addressed talking points on thread after thread.
Names are left out since we all know who the egregious trolls are.
Cheers!
Just my 2 cents.
Btw, I have no problem with those who honestly disagree and want to discuss their misgivings about Palin. She's not perfect, she's had some positions I disagree with, so I can handle honest dissent. I just posted to one of those this evening on another thread.
It's the ongoing snarky, leftist PDS knocking of a decent conservative who has found herself put in the forefront of our battle with the libs that I just can't understand. If she runs or not, it's a hard road she has, I've not seen many that are tougher.
It's beyond contemptible, it's sickening.
I react to that, sorry.......
Thanks for being honest when you didnt have to. It is a sign of character.
