Not to mention that in this scripture, God is not commanding the government to redistribute via bloated bureaucracy to the poor. It is the vineyard owners discretion, based on his interpretation of the scripture, to allow the poor to pick the extra fruit. Gosh, this sounds so familiar. Welfare and social programs have larded up the national debt for years. It was just Obama's discretionary spending that has put us so far over the top, in the last two years.
