Perry no doubt has issues like the super highway he tried to pursue from Mexico which would have let all those brokeback Mexicon trucks in to the country and his lack of enforcement on the border to name just a few.
You gotta marvel how the rats come up with all these little buzz word talking points like “shared sacrifice”,granny over the cliff and “who drove the bus into the ditch”. They must have very little to do while they sit around and make sh_t like this up.
Or otherwise stated, propping up the one that will be the easiest to knock down later.

Regarding Michelle Bachman, isn’t anyone suspicious of Chris Matthews’ complete turnaround on her? The sudden respect from people like David brooks and Politico? Why, one could almost assume they are up to something.
Anyone who thinks they haven’t been busy trying to find one of those 28 foster kids to bribe for a concocted tale of abuse, weird christian extremism, or bizarre household rules, well, I have a bridge in Brooklyn which you may purchase from me on the cheap.
I also have been watching Bachmann, not knowing much about her. Two things have struck me: she has failed to defend or personally apologize to Palin, and she has failed to attack Romney.
You all can ponder that for what it means. I am simply reporting facts.

yes, of course. I think MM was confused(?) when he said nobody is talking about raising the debt ceiling, and Bret quickly corrected him that a LOT of us are talking about not raising it. Maybe MM meant nobody is talking about the U.S. defaulting on our debt. (After all, he did goof and call Bret “Chris” without even correcting himself :-)))))))
But most of the R’s are thinking that agreeing to raise the DC can be used as a major leveraging tool - and it could, IF they don’t weenie out as they so often do, and INSIST on dollar for dollar (or greater) budget cuts AND NO TAX INCREASES. I think they’ll stand firm on the latter because they’re scared sh**less of what the American voters will do to them otherwise.
If there really are patents for 100 mpg carburetors then the gubmint could take them by eminent domain and have “gubmint motors” produce it.
Regarding democrats making stuff up:
Maybe our problem is that we do not have groups of BS experts who can make phrases up. Perhaps this is an area in which we can contribute.
How about we accuse the democrats with THESE phrases:
“robbing Granny’s Medicare in order to fund slacker scholarships in gay studies”
“using poor people’s small tax contributions to pay lazy bureaucrats who use government charge cards for getting their nails done”
“secretly plotting for everyone to sit around in the cold and dark while Jeff Immelt and GE rake in billions using Chinese slave labor”
and my personal favorite
“Obama is using the US government as a weapon to destroy the people of this country, for whom he has held a grudge since he was a child in Indonesia.”
