IT takes guts to delve into the top issues that will actually get big corrupt Chicago type thugs out of office. You have to play hardball. Our guys are all softball hitters.
My point is those individual budgets were as balanced as we've seen in forever or perhaps likely to see given DC culture and it was done in a very short timespan, not some decade long fantasy. Hard choices now, not 5 new congresses from now.
Pawlenty did NOT go after Bachman...don’t know which show you watched.
Fine, don’t vote for Romney if he ends up being the candidate....just brilliant. We will then give YOU the credit for another 4 years of the Bamster.
I have my favorites, and its not romney, but I will vote for Bozo the Clown if he runs against Obama.
I wonder why this big budget confab is being held tonight ? Sunday night ? Is Obie teeing it up again ? just wondering....
Wow!!! A rocket pack.
I Had close to 19 points that Geithner was engaged in. Some far more spectacular than others. All lies.
I guess the biggest was that our financial world collapses after August 2 if we don't bump up the debt ceiling.
Little Timmy G is a slick SOB and all the DBM has quickly picked it up as well.
RG,
Welp I gotta say my piece here...I was one who entertained the notion of a third party, mentally at least.
Cause it’s grueling fighting these RINOS, I just cannot emphasize this enough. Add to it that the media is on their side, dear Lord.
But you’re right, as you often are.
Real Conservatives, ie not Democrats Lite, have a right to control of that party.
What we had to do in Delaware....we had to have constant secret meetings. We had to read the rules, we had to recruit newer voting members, we had secret email lists and open web sites.
We argued and called each other names and when it came to the keyboard I accept my role as a champion, insert smile here. I beat them down to a bloody pulp made quite easy because a) well hell, THEY WERE WRONG and b)I was able to quite effectively point it out, thank me very much.
If nothing else, the Republican party needs better communicators. the Dems got us beat nine ways from Sunday. it’s as if standing tall and spitting out the truth will get the perfectly placed head hairs mussed.
So hey, some might tell me (and many have), the Delaware Republican party will go nowhere now that you’ve thrown out the “moderates”.
Hey, I’d rather have a Democrat vote for global warming causes, raise the taxes, cap and tax, insert any liberal stupid thing here....than a REPUBLICAN!
that’s the choice we made in Delaware and we’ll live with it.
Give the RINOS time, stick to it, and believe, as RG said, the Ruling Class Blue Blood GOP doesn’t own that party, God didn’t say so, keep chipping away at them, and soon enough, they’ll get the message.
Agreed that the growth of entitlements is what will “kill” us in the future.
What I having been trying to get my head around is Bush left with a 350B deficit. Obama had the stimulus and a big jump in spending for a 1.5T deficit his first year. This 1.5T deficit continued his second year which is what brings us to the debt ceiling now. O wants to continue the 1.5T deficit for as far as can be seen even after the economy revives.
While the shortfall of revenue is due to the economy, I am looking for a comparison of spending between 2008 to 2010. I looked on Heritage’s site but they have their charts back to 1960’s. http://www.heritage.org/budgetchartbook/contents
Yes, and where was the unemployment report or discussion of the dismal 18,000 private sector jobs record mentioned today?
Its all so convoluted you wonder how we have survived as a nation as long as we have.
Probably because Barry knows that when Boehner cries he’s just about to change his ‘no’ to a ‘yes’.
Have a nice ticket. Idaho state patrol are ruthless when it comes to speeding, especially on the interstate.
And what direction would that be and what would be the final result since you are on of the most brilliant posters here I know?
And you have to remember that Clinton benefited from the so-called Peace Dividend that resulted in major cuts to the defense budget. And he had a Rep Congress that forced him to accept welfare reform after three trys. And there was the dot-com bubble.
I think Perry would play a lot better in the South and the primaries than in the Northern and coastal cities and in the general. I’d be more than fine with it if he and Palin made a deal and she picked him as her veep, however.
At last, we are getting it.
Our side is doing a miserable job of explaining that we take in 20 billion per month and spend 30. Just how (expletive deleted) hard is that anyway.
Once again its left for us to clean up their mess!, Hopefully Rush will be on it tomorrow.
I don’t see a chance for it(balanced budget amendment) unless we control all three branches of govt. Even then the minute they get back any control its the first thing they will gut.
Yeah its cool,I might get a ride one of these weeks can’t wait.
Even though Christine lost we gained simply by throwing those who attacked her "on our side" under the Tea Party Bus which quickly ran them over. They still have tread marks/scars and probably will think twice about changing sides again.
