If Sarah Palin can win (as she told Newsweek) then why isn’t she running? Get in already and end the damn speculation.
They really weren't balanced if you took out the SS surplus. The national debt went up every year under Clinton.
Pawlenty is dead. The fact he’s going after Bachmann just gives her more credibility and makes him look weak. He wouldn’t be going after her if she was a non-factor. He’d be going after Romney.
"New information indicates that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder's actions are squarely behind the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) operation known as "Fast and Furious", which orchestrated the delivery of almost 2,000 weapons to Mexican drug cartels. (Snip) The new information, which is not really new at all, proves that Holder had to be aware of the U.S. government weapons smuggling operation planned and implemented by federal agents from ATF which he denied to Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) less than two months ago, as detailed below.
I see Bachmann as be careful what you wish for, Democrats, she will bring a winning case for the conservative solutions, Democrats thought she would be easy to beat because she is a woman, and now their realizing Bachmann is destroying their utopia.
Bump for later
His game is to collapse the system with too much welfare, overall spending that can never be paid for-- Socialism/Communism being the result.
To stop him the first step is to say no to a 2.3 trillion debt ceiling increase under any terms.
I don’t think the TEA party splits, they knew one election cycle wasn’t going to get rid of all the RINOs
As for MTP, Geithner....how can anyone trust the word of a Treasury secretary who did not pay his own taxes?
So right there I start off on my total disdain.
And he didn’t let me down. Funny thing...Gerthner went on and on about this and that and nothing, mouthing talking points. He put in two big admin talking points, as is his job. First, Obama avoided a major depression, kept us from the abyss. I got a bridge for sale to anyone who believes this. I mean, come on, it’s something that can’t be proven.
Saddam Hussein was a really bad guy and an argument could effectively be made that now that he’s gone the world’s a safer place. Well I’d buy that argument.
You can believe that those who buy the Obama saved the world from the abyss don’t believe that Saddam would have had a good shot at destroying that same world so it’s all politics and political posturing in the end. It’s not like either scenario can be proven but hey, it can be said over and over and over and hey, if you say it enough, it becomes true, as is the liberal rule.
I don’t hear the pubs out defending Bush for ridding the world of Saddam is what I’m saying here so we know who will win the battle of saying it over and over.
Second, Gerthner, after all the hoo-hah of his wods, threw in, quickly so fast one might have missed, although my husband from the peanut gallery caught it...I paraphrase..”Obama also took over with the country coming off from a downfall”...
Husband yells out from other room...”IN OTHER WORDS IT’S ALL BUSH’S FAULT”.
Heh.
I did the ding, ding, ding and told him he won the big prize of the day.
Cause if you say it over and over and over and over...it becomes true.
The liberal rule.
Gerthner warned of new catastrophic damage. Someday this admin will reach crying wolf status but they do say it over and over and over again, don’t they?
One of the games played by every panels on all the DBM is that we must cave to what the dems want or the country will go into default. It’s a huge DNC talking point that all Driveby media are following with no remorse for the lie.
Wasn’t it the NAZI’s that said, “If you tell a big enough Lie, people will believe it”?
Ah.....MISS Lurker. So glad to discover you are female.
;)
What about the constitutional Amendment idea for a “Balanced budget”..wouldn’t that last a while? Rather than just some sort of ‘agreement”?
I think the Tea Party pats are much smarter than that.
The see now that they have much more right to the Republican party than the RINOS do and they are all about taking control and we are all about helping them do it.
They know a third party destroys us and the country and won't do it.
Oh, so glad you mentioned Tpaw. I got on a Gerthner roll upthread and forgot this guy.
I got an open mind about Tpaw. I know they accuse him of being boring and a bit of a RINO.
As of now, if he got the Repub nomination, not likely as I guess but even so, I’d vote for him.
So far I’d vote for almost all the contenders EXCEPT, and I’m serious and chastise me if you will....Mittens.
Now I’ll not vote for Obama.
But I’ve had my years of voting for a RINO and I’ll let others cast the ballot. there’s something deep in me that just won’t allow it to happen again.
Tpaw went after Bachmann but that’s okay. She’s his opponent.
I think he represented himself well although boring does kind of describe him.
But like Tpaw hisself says, if you want an entertainer, don’t vote for him.
Well you gotta smile.
I think Rick Perry is one of a handful of potential candidates on our side that could potentially beat zero.
The Democrats are making the debt ceiling talks so complicating less people understand it and buy into their panic
I am a Tea Party member and part of a leadership of a federation of 40 tea parties with over 40,000 members. If the Republicans back down once again like they did earlier in the year when they promised a $100 billion cut and got $352 million, then the Tea Party that I am part of will go in a different direction. The 2010 elections sent a clear mandate. If the GOP betrays us, they will suffer the consequences. This is not a threat, just a reality.
