Religion affects character, and so no I would not vote for a non-Christian or even a liberal Christian. Just because someone claims to be a Christian doesn’t automatically mean they get my vote, but someone whose actions or words show they are not a Christians will never get my vote.

AFA Catholics, their teaching that our faith is shown by our works is Biblical and in line with all other Christian churches. Regarding churches that agree with Homosexuality, they are not in line with the Bible and in danger of falling away - however, individual members can still be conservative Christians and there track record should be a factor.

You are putting the blame on the ‘religion first’ crowd but it isn’t them, it is the politicians and people who DON”T put faith first. Americans have for too long voted for people who aren’t conservative or Christian because they are concerned more about their pocketbook and being PC (like those who think Romney’s religion doesn’t matter) than they are concerned about character and worldview.

Frankly, this country CANNOT be turned around by people who are not Christians. Character matters and someone who is not a Christian, no matter how conservative they claim to be will do nothing to stem the the elimination of every Christian symbol that is an intrinsic part of this nation.

Time to post the Mayflower Compact

Having undertaken, for the Glory of God, and advancements of the Christian faith and honor of our King and Country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the Northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents, solemnly and mutually, in the presence of God, and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic; for our better ordering, and preservation and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, and offices, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony; unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.
