“Could you tell me which part was mocking Mitt Romney or Mormonism?”

Asking several people about which candidate believes that if you are a good person, you can get your own planet. It was an obvious mocking of the religion; the guy must be auditioning for ABCNNBCBS. I’m worried about you if you didn’t pick up on that. It was typical media bias.

BTW, I’m not a Mormon and I don’t support Romney. But wrong is wrong and right is right.

It is also Mormon doctrine and godhood is the Mormon equivalent to the Christian heaven.

That is actual Mormon doctrine. It really is. Why is it mocking to ask people if they know what Mormon doctrine actually states?

I'm a bit concerned that you aren't aware that the thing about the planets (Mormons usually use the word "worlds") is actual, honest-to-Pete Mormon doctrine. No one is making it up.

Since when is repeating someone's belief "mocking" them?

Mormons actually believe that they will become Gods on their own worlds in the afterlife if they are "worthy". Nothing funny about it.

Oh NOES! Not another "BTW, I’m not a Mormon and I don’t support Romney." poster.

There's been an invasion here lately...shades of '08. They really need to get a new mantra, though..this one is getting tiresome.

The real question is it mocking when you ask the man on the street if they know one of the candidates believes if they are good enough that they will get their own planet.
It is a tenant of mormonISM. So how again is that mocking?

Well Mormons believe if a Mormon MALE is very very good, pays the club dues ofr 10% of everything he owns and acquires and is paid, and is a mormon temple worthy mormon, etc he will get his own planet

Plus a very large group of young virgins to help him populate it...the population are meant to worship him...

Now since that is a tenet of Mormonism....

and Williard Mitt Romney is a Mormon..

Wheres the mocking ???

If there was a question about who believed that God came to Earth and was born as a human baby and then grew up and was hung on a cross at age 33 and bleed and died there for the savation of all the world...the answer would be Christianity

and the candidate would be Gov SaraH Palin, Herman Cain or some other Bible believing Christian...

Would you consider that mocking ???

or is the religious flavor of the day, week, month and year gong to be Mormonism ???
