I’m not sure what your problem is? The Bible does command wives to be submissive to their husbands but first it instructs husbands to love their wives. Her husband will not be setting national policy and neither will Todd, if either of their wives become president. And by your pouting were you able to prevent Hillary from giving advice to her husband?

She could have said it with a wink and a smile....but "Slate" would never own up to that scenario.
On occasion in the past, I've used or paraphrased this Bible verse in a lighthearted or wry way to make some amusing point or other in regard to married life.
The writers at "Slate" are all sick in the head and amoral in values....and everything they author for their on-line rag has to be viewed in this light.
