No sense in telling them, they totally reject your premise. These people cannot be convinced, they must be defeated. Unfortunately, we are led by a weak, effete, Republican elite who believe they can reason and compromise with the enemy, who they see as fellow "club" members.

It doesn't look good.

It's not a tax-rate problem, but it IS a revenue problem. With economic activity down so low, there are many fewer transfers of dollars from buyer to seller, from employer to employee, and since the govt. takes a cut of almost every transfer, revenues are down a ton.

M3 money is still declining, despite all the dollars the Fed is pumping in, and the velocity/MULT of money (times a dollar in the economy changes hands) is also way down (below 1.0 and declining), which is why Porkulus was so very useless.

They dont have to be told. They already know that. They just want more of our tax dollars for them to spend and play with.
