“If a 150 pound deer can be shot through the heart with a .30-06 180-gr. expanding bullet at 2700 ft/sec and keep moving, I found that happening with 180gr core-loc ammo. I switched to Nosler ballistic tips and the most a deer moved was straight down. Saw one actually flipped over and dropped on his back.

I found the same to be true with the balistic tips. Strange that so many westerns states outfitters and guides will not allow them.
