The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights says the United States breached international law by executing a Mexican national.

Navi Pillay, in a statement Friday, said he deeply regrets the execution of Humberto Leal Garcia, after a last-minute 5-4 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court denied him a stay of execution Thursday night.

"The execution of Mr. Leal Garcia places the U.S. in breach of international law," said Pillay, who is currently on official mission in Mexico. "What the state of Texas has done in this case is imputable in law to the U.S. and engages the United States' international responsibility."

Garcia was convicted of raping and killing a 16-year-old girl and was executed by lethal injection Thursday evening in Texas.

U.S. broke international law by executing Mexican national, says U.N.

Mexican national broke US law when he raped and murdered that girl.
Sounds like a draw to me - or maybe a Mexican standoff.

A tidbit on this clown:

Navi Pillay is the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. She is from South Africa and was given the job in 2008 after having been nominated by Nelson Mandela. When she got the job, she said; "the High commisioner the voice of the victim everywhere"
But not the brutalized and murdered by an illegal alien type of victim.

Can we ban this agitator from the US?
So, we're supposed to take someone who was nominated by a terrorist seriously?

Never mind all the atrocities that Pillay turned a blind eye to. Of course, the USA and Israel are the big "offenders", but Iran, North Korea, Syria and so many others?—angels, by her silence.

There was a reason the USA didn't join the so-called "Human Rights Council" under Bush.

"If in the judicious determination of the members of the United Nations they feel they are not welcome and treated with the hostly consideration that is their due, the United States strongly encourages member states to seriously consider removing themselves and this organization from the soil of the United States. We will put no impediment in your way and we will be at the dockside bidding you a farewell as you set off into the sunset."

(And everyone remember that one of Obama’s duties from his international “owners” is to reduce the international power of the USA, so note that he on this issue stands AWAY from American sovereignty as usual. This needs to be noted in our campaigns against him - when there is an issue between us and other countries he doesn’t come down on our side.)

Bush definitely had a little “issue” with Mexico. It was the worst thing about him as President, or one of them.

"The execution of Mr. Leal Garcia places the U.S. in breach of international law," said Pillay

Hold on guys. The woman is right!

The US did break international law and since Obama is the President, he bears full responsibility for this crime.

Thus he should be brought up on charges in the appropriate International Court of Law.

So do we impeach first or after he is found guilty?

"If the UN is so upset, (like I could give a crap), let them pack up everything and move their headquarters to another country."

Then they can return this year's payments to them from the US and kick us out ...

... after all, we deserve it ...

"U.S. broke international law by executing Mexican national, says U.N."

Oops.

He was arrested by the state of Texas, tried by state of Texas, convicted by the state of Texas, and executed by the state of Texas...what has that got to do with "international law"?

The UN - in conjuction with obama - is trying to take over the government of the United States.

It's like comedian Ron White says, "If you come to Texas and kill somebody, we will kill you back!"

This is BS. He raped and murdered. He deserved to die. Thats it.

The fact he is a Mexican national who has sucked off our nation most of his life does NOT improve his standing in the case, it makes it worse.

We made a mistake in setting up “international law”.

It will be the rope which hangs the US yet.

The US federal government has enumerated powers that do not include dictating state law.

You are kidding are you not?

You are possibly referring to the 10th amendment aka the unused and forgotten amendment.
