Mr. Obama answered, “My attorney general has made clear that he certainly would not have ordered gun running to be able to pass through into Mexico. …

Yet, Fast & Furious was being run out of the office of the US Attorney in Arizona. I.e, directly under the supervision of the Attorney General's office, not thru ATF.

One wonders, then, just how Eric Holder avoided knowing about it.

Hmmm?!? What's wrong with this statement?
Mr. Obama answered, "My attorney general has made clear..."
Ah! I've got it! The word "My" (yes it is one of Barry's fave words). Once the U.S. AG is confirmed by the senate, he or she is not "yours".

The U.S. Attorney General is 'supposed' to be independent. You may have nominated him, but he works for 'The People' (what a concept!). Even Billy-Jeff understood that with his appointment of the worst US AG we've had Janet 'Shakes' Reno. Well, until Holder anyway.

So Barry you better clarify that statement and explain that you REALLY meant: "THE attorney general has made clear..." otherwise folks may get the idea you think you're a King or ... a Dictator.

Yeah, I know, how silly of me. Who'd ever think that.

Will Barack Obama dare to appoint an independent prosecutor?

IF he doesn't Issa will as the current one has a conflict of interest and should recuse.

Stevie would have a better chance of making them sing.

Oh, I’m sure they’re doing everything they can to limit the availability of evidence. It’s their nature.

The dems are big on Mexicans doing jobs Americans won’t do. Maybe in this case they’re right. Send Obama and Holder to mexico to be prosecuted there.

http://www.archives.gov/federal-register/executive-orders/obama.html

Administration of Barack Obama (2009-Present)Disposition of Executive orders signed by President Barack Obama:

Subject Index

2009 - E.O. 13489 - E.O. 13527 (39 Executive orders issued)
2010 - E.O. 13528 - E.O. 13562 (35 Executive orders issued)
2011 - E.O. 13563 - E.O. 13577 (15 Executive orders issued)

89 Total Executive orders Issued

Someonee needs to go through every single one of these with a fine tooth comb. At the risk of being repetitive, SOMEWHERE is an excutive order allowing the F&F project to tnansfer monies between agencies.

Huh? New rules? Hey Obama how about starting with preventing Mexican criminals from buying guns with your OK, while you watch them allowing the criminals to kill at will with your approval?

Government White House Plans to Release New Gun Safety Measures ‘in the Near Future’

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — Six months after Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was shot, the White House is preparing to propose some new steps on gun safety, though they’re likely to fall short of the bold measures activists would like to see.

Spokesman Jay Carney said that the new steps would be made public “in the near future.” He didn’t offer details, but people involved in talks at the Justice Department to craft the new measures said they expected to see something in the next several weeks. Whatever is proposed is not expected to involve legislation or take on major issues, like banning assault weapons, but could include executive action to strengthen the background check system or other steps.

example:

Given the abundance of official, expert, and media reports of large-scale false imprisonments, widespread corruption of the courts, and unprecedented fraudulent dispossession of homeowners throughout the United States, the testimony by the Acting Inspector General must be deemed false and deliberately misleading.
____
Los Angeles, February 10 - on February 9, 2010 Acting Inspector General Cynthia Schendar, US Department of Justice, provided a statement before the US House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, concerning oversight of the department of justice. [[i]] Upon review of the statement and the true facts in the matter, the statement must be deemed false and deliberately misleading

Anyone remember this? ________________________________________________________

Jim Brady, for whom the law requiring background checks on handgun purchasers is named, then met with White House press secretary Jay Carney. During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, “to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda,” she said.

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar."

OK, Maybe everyone already knows this, but I don't see references to this skimming the threads, but Holder gave a speech on it, in Mexico, in 2009.

Unaware my butt.
