These attacks in the normally placid North Side gained attention. The chosen victims: a 68-year-old white doctor, a 34-year-old white insurance salesman, a Thai man, a Filipino nursing student, and a 42-year-old Japanese doctor. All were either beaten, robbed, or both. Those arrested: three young black men, a fact we only know because of mugshots since it is the official policy of the Chicago Tribune to censor the race of criminal mobs in its journalism, if not its commentary section.

I'll bet it's only 'policy' when the mobs or criminals are black. Journalists are so afraid of being called 'racist' that they'll twist themselves into liars to avoid the 'appearance'. It sick - and a sign t they REALLY ARE RACISTS...

Easy. If a kid is arrested as part of a flash mob, he loses his disability check and so do his parents ... that will put a stop to this madness.

I actually have no clue how they mechanized this. Several hundred blacks would rush into a store after the FAMU home game. The gates would crash down. The people in the store would be let out one at a time by uniformed security. I do know there are multiple fire exits per store, but how they mechanized this and whether those exits were locked (doubt it) I can’t say. My buddy who was a prosecutor while this was going on told me that the stores installed many more cameras and he was able to show that the thieves were coming in before the game, trying on (say leather coats) then coming back in the flash mob and stealing the coat that fit. This was flash-mob organized crime instead of Mafia organized crime.
