Man falls behind on payments, mortgage company has home trashed

Imagine coming back to your home after being away a few weeks and finding the locks changed and the home trashed. That's what happened to Chris Boudreau of Brooksville.

Boudreau showed us the home, which was stripped bare.

Walking through the living room, he tells us "I used to have a couch, a sofa, a couple of end tables, a TV, DVD player, tapes and cabinet... but they are now gone."

It happened after 21 Mortgage Corporation in Knoxville, which is Boudreau's lender, hired a local company to do the job.

How can the Trailer Park Mortgage Company steal property that resides inside a trailer that they now own?

Oh, well is he is working very hard to catch-up then that mean old trailer part mortgage company should not be so tough on him.

Perhaps, he could ask his wife to make some chocolate chip cookies for the mean old man at the TP mortgage company and he will let them live rent free for a couple more weeks.

My favorite is the people who call into Dave Ramsey who are behind on the mortgage but current on the truck and the credit cards.

The truck, I can see -- if you need it for work, or just to get to work. The credit cards, I have no rational explanation for.

Actually, if you stay in a house (including leaving your belongings there) that you are not paying for, then that constitutes a "free house". You and some others on this thread are indeed suggesting that the deadbeat is getting a raw deal somehow, even though he has been stealing his housing.

From what I can tell, there seemed to be at least two able bodied people living in that doublewide and if two able bodied people are incapable of making payments on said doublewide trailer, then they are deadbeats who do not deserve a home that they cannot afford.

However, you are free to open your home to the couple so that they can live for free off of your toil and sweat.

He had his belongings in a trailer that no longer belonged to him.

we also have the issue of banks TELLING people to stop paying so they could qualify for HAMP (a lie by the way).

The mortgage lenders are out of control and the judges are 100% complicit in the fraud.

It is so bad that in some areas people leave home for a short bit and come home to find squaters have moved in. (hours not days) Acorn even helps them do it with faked residency docs like a voter registration or state ID with the squatted address!
