Watergate was a theatrically amateurish burglary of a hotel suite.

No federal laws were broken.

Nixon never even knew about it until after-the-fact.

Fast & Furious was a criminal conspiracy to break federal laws orchestrated from the Oval Office for the purpose of manufacturing an excuse to subject the United States to an international gun control treaty.

Obama said he was working on gun control "under the radar." F&F was evidently what he meant.

Kinda likened to the FAA sending 2,500 Boeing Airliners to the Taliban so they can track their flight plans as they fly them into public stadium events in America............To build a case against them for blowing a hole in the side of the USS Cole.

“Nixon never even knew about it until after-the-fact. “

Most people don't realize that fact about Watergate. Nixon had nothing to do with putting it together or making it happen.

He just reacted foolishly after some dolts did something foolish. Watergate was such a tragedy. It could have easily gone away if Nixon would have made some simple decisions differently.

No federal laws were broken.

The offices in question were in the District of Columbia, where everything from murder to littering is a matter of federal law.
