That is very true. Even when he is wrong - which is fairly often - he does show his math and how he arrived at his conclusion. One of the few talk show hosts who comes across as a real person.

For once I would like to see the elected officials & bureaucrats make a giant sacrifice!!! They caused the deficit, THEY should pay for IT!!!
I bet you a billion Indians and Chinese who get paid $3 a day would love to split up rich Momma Welfare’s $3000 monthly check among themselves.
When I was studying political science in college over 30 years ago (one of the classes I chose to fill the minimal humanities requirement for the engineering curriculum), Gallup was known for excruciatingly scientific polls. Once it had zeroed in on a person it wanted to poll, it would be a bigger pest than an overdue credit card. If after great effort Gallup still failed to pick its target’s mind, it would pursue a designated alternate person. The process could literally take weeks.
If a poll of this caliber says 57% of Americans want bare naked wealth redistribution, in preference to something like an economy that has fewer people falling into a poverty level, well America is on the final slide to hell. It has the votes to vote itself there. But Gallup isn’t that picky on all its polls. Some of them could be badly biased being based on who was available to answer the phone at the time the poll was done. Can’t talk to person = don’t bother with person and don’t try to find substitute.
YEA! Tax the Poor. I've been saying that for a long time now.

When conservatives own the Senate, House , and presidency.
When it is taken from you without recourse, it is simple theft.
Whenever someone gets ‘something’ for ‘nothing’; you can expect that person to increase their demands, and become more dependant upon the hand-out.
I have no problem with taxing the poor at a lower rate than the rich - but my bottom line is this; EVERYONE pays something. No one get’s a free ride.
We currently have 50% of our American population (not counting the illegals) reaping the benefits of taxation, but contributing NOTHING to replenish the resources they are depleting.
Even a 5% tax would put some of their skin in the game.
Getting less stolen loot is not a sacrifice.
It’s time for the poor to start carrying some of the load and investing in America
We are therefore at the tipping point. Unless this changes, and soon, there is no doubt in my mind that society will collapse.
In a better world, voting would be limited to those who actually pay taxes and/or own real estate and/or serve in the Armed Forces. JMHO
Everyone who buys a product or (in many states) uses a service pays taxes. Everyone who owns real or (in many jurisdictions) significant personal property pays taxes.
